My brother in law Manuel was a very loving person he loved my sister  Carmen very much and my three nephews.  Manel was  a strong and thoughtful person willing to help everyone.  He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Carmen I am SO SORRY for your loss.  May Wings of Angels gently lift your burdens of pain.

Manny was such a wonderful person who brought so much laughter to everyone.  Victor, my late husband, always brought home stories that Manny would tell. They were so hilarious! He was a true friend to my husband and myself for many years. My family and I will always remember the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. It was a pleasure knowing Manny. May God give Carmen and all his children and grandchildren strength and peace during this time.

One of my favorite Uncles who I loved dearly. You were such a big part of my child hood. I loved sitting with you as a little girl as you shared all your favorite record albums. I can remember you pulling out the Culture Club. I was like wow my Uncle is cool. I will forever keep all the wonderful memories I have growing up with you near and dear to my heart. Rest in paradise Tio. 

Dad, you were truly an amazing man and father.  It sucks because you are gone and the last time I had my last conversation with you was in the hospital taking about the po-boy from bb’s and a small coke.  You asked about your furry granddaughter Maggie Mae.  I didn’t want this to be the last memory I had of you but God called you home.  I seriously thought I had more time with you, we all did.  In the end, I’m relieved you are not in pain anymore but we all hurt so much.   I promise that I will take care of Mom, Keith, Chach, and the rest of family to the best of my abilities.  I will graduate from U of H school system and I really hope I can be half the man you were.   From the bottom of my heart, I love you Dad and Rest peacefully.

Manny was a good man. When he would come down to surveying or we were just passing in the halls at work he always had a positive attitude. Always smiling and just full of happiness. 
I remember fishing with him and James Brown in Rockport many many years ago. I never laughed so much in all my life. He made me think differently about life. Take it one day at a time, keep a smile on your face and hold your head up high no matter if you win or loose. 
Manny's smile and good attitude has rubbed off on a lot of us.

Uncle Manuel, our Angel in Heaven, I was so not expecting this outcome and prayed for a miracle but God was calling you home.  While I am heartbroken like the rest of the family I find comfort in knowing you are definitely in Heaven with grandma, grandpa, Uncle Jorge, Uncle Joel, Uncle Tim and the rest of our loved ones who have passed.   I know you are pain free, dancing and jamming to your music up there.  Especially with your Dj Uncle Joel and I’m sure grandpa serenaded you with his violin.   I will miss your stories, your smile, making us laugh,  just always having you around at family gatherings and our BBQ team cookoffs.  I am ever so grateful that my parents chose you to be my godfather.  Thank you as well as Aunt Carmen for including me to be one of your flower girls in your wedding along with Michelle and Hiddy.  Thank you for being at all my graduations even traveling to SA for my last one.  It meant the world to have you and all the family there.  I will miss you dearly.  I love you Uncle Manuel!  ❤️

Manny was a great man.  The biggest UH Cougar fan I ever met.  He was the first person I ever fished with in Matagorda and I had such a great time with him that I was hooked for life.  He was kind, considerate and giving.  My truck broke down one night in Galveston with a boat attached.  I left the boat and got a taxi home.  Called Manny at midnight and asked if he would take me down to get my boat in Galveston on the side of the road.  Without hesitation he said "Absolutely".  Drove from Kingwood all the way to my house in Cypress, took me to Galveston to get the boat in his old maroon Explorer, pulled the boat home 100 miles to my house, dropped me and boat off then drove all the way home to Kingwod.  Probably got home at 4 in the morning.  Never complained about any of it.  That was the man Manny was.  Ill always miss you friend.....more than you know.

Condolence to all the loving Vasquez Family.  Manuel has been a blessing to all of us. Is is always difficult when our loved ones leave this life we all share.  Love is the most important lesson we are sent here to learn. And Manuel has done that, I will always remember his smile and laughter. I remember him growing up in Port Houston, I was  younger then. He was like an older brother to me. I know God is pleased with his life here, they are both smiling down on us here. He is in a place of unconditional love now, forever.  He has no more pain needs no more meds and his spirit can be anywhere he wants to be now.  

I was fortunate to work along side Manny for many years. I always admired his positive attitude and smiling face. Victor, Sara, Manny and I spent many a happy hour after working hard meeting deadlines. That man made me laugh so hard so many times you would forget all about your troubles or stresses. He was a great great guy, I dont have the word to Express my sadness of his passing but I do know he will be welcomed in heaven and I will laugh with him again one day. My sincerest sympathy goes to Carmen and all his family.

Manny, you were such a great Father-in-law. I had the pleasure of not only getting to be part of the Vasquez family but I also got to work with you at LJA. I've watched you and Carmen for the last ten years with  such admiration. Your love for your wife and family will never be forgotten. Thank you so much for raising John to be the man he is. He is wonderful husband and provider just like you Manny. Rest in peace and I hope to see you again someday. 


Manny was a very good friend of mine.  He always had a great attitude and was a very hard worker.  He and I shared many stories,  including the “oil man” and Burger King escapade.  I will miss him.

I was not fortunate to meet Manuel in person, but I do know his son John. John is a great person and friend. Always checking on you, genuinely cares. This shows what a great man Manuel was, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. God bless and prayers for comfort at this difficult time. 

Manny was a great man and friend committed to his family and work. We had the pleasure of enjoying a long friendship with him and his family.  Over 40 years of memories from work, softball, carpooling among so many others. Our deepest condolences to Carmen, John, Keith and Adam as well as his extended family. May he Rest In Peace, he will be missed.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Manny and work with him way back in the early 90's.  LOVED HIM!  He is/was the kindest funniest guy.  He will always remain in my memories.  May God Rest his soul and may he rest in paradise.  Love You Manny!!

Manny you will always be an awesome example of a good friend. You were always around and everyone could count on you always. Our LJA days were memorable and cut short at the same time.  I will never forget the times we spent together at work and happy hour at Chicos.  Ha ha.  We all tried to tell you go home cause the wifa lol 😂  good old days.  Carmen always forgave you. She is a great lady.  I could go on forever about how much I admired and cared for Manny.  He was what you would call an outstanding person walking into the office with his briefcase 💼.   Good people exist but “GREAT PEOPLE ARE ONCE IN A LIFETIME” Rest In Peace or just rest.  Great people are hard to come by.  If you knew Manny. You are lucky!!   Love ❤️ Sara and Rick
