Wish you could be here to meet your namesake! Grayson Marc made his appearance a little less than a month before your birthday. I know you’d be the best uncle to him. I wish my son could have gotten a chance to meet my incredible brother. I know he’ll grow up knowing all the beautiful  memories I have of you and he’ll know how amazing you were. We love you so much and miss you every day!

Marc , we all love you with all of our hearts. We wish you could be with us to share in our joy over the birth of your sister Michelle’s son Grayson Marc Levine Buchner . He is a beautiful , glowing, pure and sweet little bundle of joy, just like you were! And his middle name is Marc , just like his uncle. When we look at Grayson  Marc, we will always be reminded of you, and we know that he will grow up to be a loving , caring, and thoughtful young man! Just like you Marc.

Sometimes it feels like I lost you yesterday and sometimes it’s staring me in the face just how much of my life you have missed. Ten years of my life without my best friend. Today, September 4th 2020, is Marc’s thirty third birthday. We think of Marc and his kind, loving,  sharing soul in everything we do. We miss Marc in everything good and joyous and heartfelt in this world we all live in. And we remember Marc and his true heart and spirit in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to have known and loved Marc. 

Tomorrow, September fourth, 2019, would have been Marc's thirty -second birthday. We remember and celebrate the amazing memories and great times that we shared with Marc. We reflect upon and imagine amazing adventures and dreams that we are unable to envision coming into fruition. We are all greatly  diminished by our loss, and yet empowered by the goodness , friendship, love and charity that Marc's life represented. Happy Birthday, Marc. I miss Marc everyday. There are so many monumental things in my life that he never got to share with me! Most days I feel like he was just saying hello to me yesterday. It’s now been 6 years and I still can’t believe it’s been that long. Love you forever big bro!

Today Marc would have been 31 years old. What an amazing baby, child, young boy and wonderful man Marc was to his family and to the world. Marc is a kind, generous and loving soul and his absence from all of us is such a tremendous loss. Marc will always remain in our hearts as a kind and gentle soul and a wonderful son, brother and friend.

Looking back at countless photos of Marc from happier days, what we would not give to travel back to those moments and be with our beloved son and brother,  Marc.   February 28, 2018 will be five years that we have lived without Marc's passion, love, courage, grace and dignity.  We have all lost a kind, gentle and knowing soul, and the world,  and our world is a much sadder place because Marc is gone.  
We will always treasure the endless memories and happiness that Marc brought into our hearts and lives.  We are confident that all who knew Marc miss him and love him as we do.  

 I can't express how sad I was to read of Marc's passing.  I had the privilege of meeting Marc on several occasions and it was apparent that he was a very special person, so kind and smart and creative.  He exuded an inner beauty, a gentle soul. I'm so sorry no one told me sooner. Since moving away from Houston, I have lost touch with many of my friends. His mother, Marianne was a close friend of mine growing up and I can't imagine what she must be going through. I want her to know how sorry I am, and my heart and prayers go out to the whole family. Hindu scripture states that No one can bring to an end the Spirit which is Everlasting.

We love you so much and we miss you with all of our hearts.

Your passing is such a great tragedy for all of your family. We miss you tremendously every minute of the day. Your smile, your voice, your kindness, your selflessness, your love will always be missing in our lives. Christmas and New Year will not be the same without you and we  will always miss you, Marc.

I think of Marc every day, but for some reason today hit me very hard. It's not his birthday or the day we lost him, just another day we don't get to see his smiling face. I still can't believe its been almost 5 years since we said goodbye.  There isn't a day we don't miss you. Every time I see a butterfly I smile, because it reminds me that no matter how much I miss you, you will always be with us.

When I first met you at Kroger, I knew what a great young man you where. I knew you was going far, until God call you home. My condolences to Mr. & Mrs. Levine, Melissa, & Michelle.

I became good friends with Marc on a blogging website around 2004 or 2005. I was looking through old emails today and came across one he had sent me, and tried to find him on facebook to reconnect and catch up, and eventually found this page. I am so sorry to learn that he has died. I appreciated his friendship greatly, and am saddened that he is no longer here to continue encouraging others to enact positive change in the world around them. My condolences for your loss.

Yesterday would have been Marc's 27th birthday. It was a horribly sad day for us. For those who knew Marc, they knew that Marc was not big on celebrating his birthday. While he didn't enjoy it, my family would have loved to just give him a big hug.  Instead we had to celebrate his life in our own way. I was able to volunteer to help kids, and I did it in his honor. I think he would have loved that. Thanks to all for your kind words and support during this challenging time.

Marc died 17 months ago today around  6 and we are so overwhelmingly sad and we miss him so much every moment of the day. He will always be remembered as a loving and kind man.

I did not get to know Marc that well but what little I did know of him was enough to cement the idea that he was a great guy that had an unbreakable passion and resolve for the betterment of humanity.

We tremendously miss Marc and will always love you and we think about you all the time every day of our lives.

Almost a year. I still feel him in my life on a regular basis.

While it is incomprehensible that Marc is gone from this world, never forget that he is always with us.  Marc was not only a brother but was a friend, role model and inspiration.  While he was only on this earth for twenty-five years, he benefited our family, society, and all that had the honor of knowing him.  He was my baby brother but in so many ways, I respected and looked up to him.  He had such a big heart and caring soul, it was hard not to love him.  He will truly be missed by not only his family but also all of the people whose lives he touched.  Marc was talented in so many ways. Everyone of you here, today, knows what an incredible and truly amazing human Marc is.
How self LESS and compassionate he was not just to friends and family, but literally everyone he met.
What many of you don't know is how remarkable Marc was as my big brother.
Since the day I was born, I wanted to be just like him, and to this day, I can only dream of being half the kindhearted and wonderful person that he is.
Marc, in all definitions of the phrase, truly was my partner in crime since we were young.
I can still remember as if it were yesterday-Marc and I as little kids sneaking out of the house to walk all the way to the front of the neighborhood just to get some candy.
Without mom's knowledge or permission of course! Sorry, mom.
And our constant laughing and making jokes getting us in trouble.
Even getting into trouble with Marc was a lot more fun than playing with anyone else.
Marc helped me ride my bike for the first time and taught me how to ice skate, staying right by my side each step I made.
He truly was the best friend I could have ever asked for and I am so proud to call him my big brother.
I will miss Marc every day for the rest of my life, but am so thankful to have spent the time I did with him.
His compassion and caring heart will guide me in my life as I hope to become the person that Marc would be forever proud of, as I am forever proud of him.

When I think of life, I think of the seasons.  When I think of Marc, I think of spring.  The world is full of all of its beauty everywhere around us.  The excitement and energy fills our senses.  The annual rite of spring, baseball, fills our hearts and souls.  Marc loved baseball.  Marc loved so many things.  He loved to write and to learn and to create art.  He loved to help people, all people.  He fought for the underdog and the downtrodden.  He did this in big and little ways.  Whether raising large amounts of money for charities he believed in, or buying subway sandwiches and giving them to people living on the street.
Like seasons we love, we cannot wait until they arrive and we hope against hope that they will never end.  We enjoy them while they are here, and we sometimes take for granted that one day they will be gone.  We try to fashion some kind of understanding for their blessing of nature, of grace of joy, but there is so much we cannot understand.  And so it is with Marc's time spent among us.  There is so much that we may never understand or know.  
Yet, there are countless things about Marc that I do know.  I know he loved his family.  He loved his grandparents, he loved his friends, and he loved his school, his memories of childhood and good times shared by all.  He loved his mother and father with a love and patience beyond his years.  He cherished his sisters more than baseball and that says it all.  I know he always placed others ahead of himself and his own needs. I know that his heart and soul were too big and generous for this world.  And finally, I know that we were all blessed to have experienced his unique and selfless life for the time that we did.
We will miss you, Marc.  We will always feel your love and presence.  We will always think back fondly of the many good times and memories that we shared.  And we will know above all else that knowing and loving you has made us all better human beings.

We are so lucky to have had Marc in our lives. You have made our perspective of life so amazing from your truly creative interpretation of nature and of human nature. I will never forget the first day I met him at Kerr. He asked me, "what was up with the dudes in lipstick on my shirt?" I explained that the New York Dolls were awesome and he wasn't so sure. He explained that The Addicts were awesome and I wasn't so sure. We agreed to burn each other a copy of the bands to check them out for ourselves. Turns out we were both right and we were forever bonded by listening to each others cool tunes. I will never forget him or his kindness; it is time to listen to those cool tunes again to remember those great memories.
