

Marcelina “Celing” Ungria Juguilon passed away peacefully on February 20, 2020 at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake in the presence of many of her loved ones. Marcelina was born June 18, 1931 in San Fabian, Pangasinan, Philippines and lived a happy, prosperous life of 88 years. She was the enchanting wife of Ulpiano N. Juguilon for 65 years, 9 months and was a loving mother to six children and one adopted daughter.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Marcelina is survived by her one and only husband of 65 years and 9 months, Ulpiano N. Juguilon, her children Henry Juguilon, Aurora Juguilon, Regina Juguilon, Ulpiano U. Juguilon Jr., Mario Juguilon Sr., and Judith Juguilon-Ruiz, Lani Juguilon-Carrera, and her grandchildren Valerie, Lydianne, Mario-Joseph Jr. and Marc-Jerrin Juguilon.
She graduated from Centro Escolar University, Philippines with a Bachelors of Science in Education and was a teacher of Home Economics in the Philippines for 25 years. She was a loving mother who had a talent for cooking and making sure everyone was filled with food. Her calm, kindhearted presence filled the hearts of all who knew her.
Marcelina’s family would like to thank the family members who were able to visit her during her last moments and would like to thank the staff and physicians at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, who faithfully cared for her.
The Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road. On Tuesday, the service presided by Father Tim Prado will be 7:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, a eulogy will be spoken 7:30 p.m. both at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Road, with Msgr. Rolando Diokno officiating followed by a Celebration of life burial in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
