Margaret Warzon Biggerstaff was born on July 23, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Rufus Leon Warzon and Gertrude Helen Molewski. Margaret was happily raised in Houston, Texas, where she graduated from St Pius X High School in 1974. Margaret married her husband of 28 years, Gregory Dean Biggerstaff, on September 23, 1993 and to this union one child was born, Christina Ann Biggerstaff.
Margaret was a faithful member of Grace Bible Church of Houston and served as the church accountant as well as helping out with many other church functions and activities. She loved the flock greatly and derived great joy from the fellowship and friendship of all the Church members. Margaret could be described as a true Christian Southern Lady, God fearing, great cook, elegant, soft spoken, and intelligent, with a gentle spirit who always made sure everyone else was safe and happy before herself. Margaret was also very creative and talented, loving to paint pictures and ceramic pieces, doing photography, making floral arrangements, feather pens and other creative arts and crafts. She loved to make gifts to provide to her family and friends.
She valued family more than anything and always made sure to attend every family function no matter how big or small and acted as the family photographer, always pushing the family to take group pictures at special functions and holidays. She loved to travel and was always up for a new adventure on short notice, especially loving to go on camping trips with her sister and family. Her greatest love though was for her daughter Christina and watching her softball career as well as her many adopted softball girls. She made it to almost every game from the earliest years all the way through college. She meticulously cataloged all of her softball career and derived such joy and pride from her daughter’s softball accomplishments and academic success.
Margaret Warzon Biggerstaff passed peacefully in her sleep sometime in the morning of November 6, 2021 at the age of 66 years.
She is survived by her husband Greg Biggerstaff of Houston and her daughter Christina Biggerstaff of Houston; her siblings, Jackie Reddy and her husband Mike of Conroe, Norman Warzon and his wife Wanda of Houston; in-laws, Diane Chambers of Houston, Scott Biggerstaff and his wife Kim of Katy and Karen Davis of Weston Lakes; her nieces and nephews, Lori Formby and her husband Michael of Austin, Natalie Skrehot and her husband Shaun of Plantersville, Kyle Chambers of Friendswood, Becky Brown and her husband Matt of Richmond, Brittany Menard and her husband Chad of Castroville, Kelly Chambers of Houston, Ryan Biggerstaff of Houston, and Katie Biggerstaff of Katy and by numerous other loving family members and many friends.
