

Sarah Margaret Kunz died peacefully the 12th of April 2015 in Houston. She was born the 6th of August 1909 in Fort Worth to Frances Broiles Cook and James Witcher Cook. Margaret spent her early years in Fort Worth. She graduated with honors from Texas Christian University with a degree in Spanish, fol-lowing in the footsteps of her mother who graduated from TCU's predecessor AddRan Christian University.
In 1931, she married Howard Edward Kunz of McGregor and they made their home in Abilene for many years until moving to Dallas. Margaret was a member of University Park United Methodist Church in Dallas. In 2007, she moved to Houston to be near family.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Howard Kunz, Sr. and son, Howard Kunz, Jr. She is survived by her beloved daughter-in-law, Gwen Kunz of Houston; niece, Mildred Wil-liams of Englewood, Colorado; great niece, Diane Neff of Cy-press; several great nieces and nephews including four genera-tions of nieces and nephews.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening on Wednesday the 15th of April at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive, in Houston. The funeral service is to be con-ducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday the 16th of April in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Directors. A private interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth on Friday the 17th of April. In lieu of the customary remembrances, the family requests that memo-rial donations be directed to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486 Houston, Texas 77210-4486 in Margaret's memory.
