Peggy was born on the 16th of November 1932 in Luling, Texas, to J.L. Latimer and Leone Hines Latimer. In 1955, Peggy married Robert Sanborn “Bob” Begien, Jr., and in 1956 they moved to Houston where they raised their three children, Betsy, Meg and John. Peggy was a member of the Junior Forum and a Lifetime Member of the School Art Committee in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She was a longtime member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church and served on the PTA of Saint Michael’s Catholic School when her children attended there.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband, the late Bob Begien, Jr.; daughter, Meg Begien; and son John Begien.
