Mrs. Washburn was smart and practical. She had worldly and common sense. She was kind and ever respectful. Faith, family and friends were all priorities she gently yet firmly kept prioritized. Reliable, honest and patient, she was a joy to know. 

I have the best memories of Mrs. Washburn in the kitchen cooking and running a large household from there.  I thought she was amazing for doing this with such confidence and grace.  She taught me to make world class enchiladas and chocolate pie....These are some of the best memories of my life.   

Dear Jeannine,
 I am deeply grateful for all the support you tirelessly provided for our family and myself.  We had so much fun together and I always looked forward to learning how to cook from you,  cook with you, the traditions, the traditions you created like taking a Christmas photo of Thomas and Samuel every year at Teas Nursery.  You were an awesome role model for me during the time I was a stay-at-home mom and wife.  I treasure it all, big and small. I was blessed to be a part of the Washburn/ Schmidt family and I treasure the lineage in Thomas and Samuel every day.

Jeannine -

You are without a doubt the sweetest, kindest soul I have ever met. When you entered Jeannine's home, you were always greeted with her warmth and kindness.  I am a very lucky man that I got to know you and have you in my life.

One of my favorite memories of Jeannine was at the annual family 4th of July celebration at the ranch. It was just unbelievable the amount of food, dessert, and drinks that Jeannine laid out over the 3 day festival. And always with a smile!!!

Enjoy your peace. It is much deserved. 

Will miss you dearly Mrs Washburn.... I have warm memories of visiting the Washburn household and ending up sitting at the kitchen table, while Jeannnine was cooking different dishes .....which were excellent, btw....and simply talking..... my family And I will miss you❤️ The Washburn’s hold a special place in our life
