Maria was born on August 8, 1952, in Mexico to her beloved parents, Roman Gonzalez and Maria Del Socorro Gonzalez. Throughout her life, Maria was known for her unwavering love for her family.
Maria found her greatest happiness in spending time with her grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life. She created countless memories that will be treasured forever. She loved plants and enjoyed watching the butterflies hover around them. She loved listening to music, especially George Strait, watching her favorite television shows such as The Price Is Right and Family Feud, or enjoying a meal from Sonic with her strawberry shake.
Maria's devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Jorge J. Almaguer; her children, Claudia Campos and husband Jorge Campos, Jorge R. Almaguer, Roberto Almaguer; grandchildren, Abigail and her husband Andy, Jorge Manuel and his wife Mya, Miguel, Robert Anthony, Christopher, Olivia, Kaleb, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Eliana, Emilio, and Autumn who is soon to arrive; and many other relatives and friends who will continue to honor her memory and legacy.
Though she is no longer with us in person, Maria's love, laughter, and the precious memories she shared will remain in her family's hearts forever.
