Maria C. Alonso passed away peacefully on February 22, 2015. She was born in Havana, Cuba on August 26, 1930. Maria is predeceased by her Father, Eusebio Guzman; Mother Justa Guzman; Daughter, Martha Alonso and son, Jorge Alonso. She is survived by her Sisters, Antonia, Francisca and Dora; Brother, Fermin; Husband of 63 years, Vicente L. Alonso; Daughters, Margarita Alonso, Ana Maria Graham and Adela Torres; Son, Vicente Alonso; Grandchildren, Dagobis, Marcos, Dhunia, Martha Rosa, Maria Christina, Yolanda Ruby, Jeanette, Margarita and Jorge; Great Grandchildren, John, Salvador, Anthony, Brandon, Izaiah, Haley Marie, Leila Marie and Khaitlyn; Daughter in Law, Yolanda Alonso and Sons in Law, Juan Torres and Robert Graham. Maria's smile and joyous spirit will be missed.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Following the services Maria will be laid to rest in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
