Maria Guadalupe Cervantes

Maria Guadalupe Cervantes, 78 of Houston, Texas was born November 14, 1945 in Mexico to Librado and Maria Del Rufio Guerra Marroquin and passed away at her home on July 20, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was a Christian woman of great faith and read her bible every day. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family and going on trips with her sisters. She was outgoing and adventurous.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Juan Cervantes; children Mario Lozano and wife, Teresa; Lorena Jaime and husband, Norberto; Marcos Lozano and Nora Lozano; 11 grandchildren Nolberto Jaime and wife, Ana; Ricardo Jaime, Alfredo Jaime, Carlos Jaime, Ericka Cervantes and husband, Jose; Julio Pena, Yesinia Varela, Miguel Lozano, Mario Lozano, Kevin Lozano and Lorenita; 6 great grandchildren, Sophia Guzman, Melanie Cervantes, Kamila Cervantes, Nolberto Jaime, Ana Sofia Jaime and Jose Damian Jaime; siblings, Donato Marroquin, Flora Marroquin, Francisca Marroquin, Librado Marroquin, Rosa Marroquin and Pedro Marroquin along with other extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Librado and Maria Marroquin and her brother, Heriberto Marroquin.

Visitation will be held 10:00am until 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Crespo Broadway Funeral Home, 4136 Broadway, Houston, Texas 77087 with a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale at 3:00pm.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nolberto Jaime, Ricardo Jaime, Alfredo Jaime, Jose Cervantes, Julio Pena, Yesinia Varela, Miguel Lozano and Mario Lozano.
