Maria was born on February 11, 1949, in Tampico, Mexico, to her loving parents, Leon Garibay and Yalencia Garibay. She later made her home in Houston, where she spent many years surrounded by family and community.
Maria will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and devotion to those she loved. Her presence and memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, located at 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022, on February 6, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Prayer Service will also take place at the same location on February 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
