

She was born in Cambridge, Nebraska on April 15, 1988 to Becky and Jorge “Rocky” Rodriguez. She grew up in San Marcos, Texas and graduated from San Marcos High School in 2006. She went on to study video game design and development with the desire to work in creating RPG games similar to the ones she loved to play. Her studies were cut short due to the struggles from MS. Even with the obstacles that were placed in her path, she continued to be a force of nature. Since childhood, Angie always attacked life with personal zeal not concerned with following the norm.
Angie married the love of her life, Scott Lipscomb on October 27, 2013, settling into her new life in Houston Texas. Their marriage and life together were a true testament of their deep and abiding love. They were married for over 10 wonderful years, completely devoted to one another. They met in San Marcos, Texas back in 2008, quickly becoming the best of friends. Their relationship bloomed day after day for over 14 years. She was his rock, his strength, and source of undying support and happiness before her untimely passing.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jorge “Rocky” Rodriguez. She is survived by her loving husband Scott Lipscomb, her mother, Becky and her husband William Kraft, her Lipscomb family, Gordon and Amy Lipscomb of Galveston, Texas, Gordon Lipscomb of Leander, Texas, and Jake Lipscomb of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother June Coleman, her maternal grandfather Hubert Childers, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Angie would want others to honor her memory by helping people with disabilities. Make that special effort to reach out to those struggling in life. Be kind to others, enjoy life, and never be afraid to take chances.
