She is survived by six children, daughters; Susanne Rothschild & Becky Hunter, and sons; Clay A, Fred, Tom and Guy Merchant as well as a number of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter Cecilia Merchant Denison, son Richard Merchant, and husband Clay E. Merchant.
There will be a viewing 5 P.M.-7 P.M. Sunday November 7, followed by a Rosary at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home 1200 W. 34th, Houston 77018.
Funeral services will be held on Monday November 8, 11 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 501 Tidwell Road, Houston 77022.
