Ms. Maria retired from the Montessori School of Downtown after 20+ years. She worked in the infant room and “loved her job (her other babies).” She enjoyed life and was always kind to all.
She leaves to cherish her memories: loving daughters, Diana Reyes Mendoza (Reyes); Esmeralda Moreno Jones (Charles); sons: Ricardo Moreno (Theresa); Mario Moreno; Rodrigo Moreno; Gustavo V. Moreno; Stepson, Frank G Moreno, Jr.; grandchildren: Melissa Mendoza; Reyes Mendoza, Jr.; Jeremy Moreno; Chelsey J. Harper (Aaron); Branden L. Jones; Robert A. Moreno; great grandchildren: Ayla Jones; Aniya and Eliana Harper; along with two sisters, Janie, Ninfa Sanders; and brother, Gregorio Reyes, as well as other loving family & friends.
The family will receive friends and family from 6-9pm on Monday, July 31, 2023, with Rosary to be recited at 6:30p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel. A private service will be held thereafter for immediate family only.
