Ester was an example of a strong Christian woman who was always doing deeds of kindness. She kept up with events and could carry an active conversation. She was a faithful and devoted wife who kept her marriage vows of "in sickness and in health." She took good care of her cariño, Alejos Paredes.

Esther was a strong woman who battled cancer and did not let it get her down. She was truly blessed in having seen her only son marry and present her with beautiful grandchildren. Esther once stated that her reason for living was her love of her grandchildren.

Esther, I will forever have fond memories of you.

Your brother in law, Albert Paredes.

We will miss you dearly Mrs. Paredes. You were always a comfort to our group of friends aka "the gang". You always embraced us like we were your own. Your smile will never be forgotten. I will cherish all of the laughs and memories we made over the years. I know you are at peace and resting in paradise with your beloved Mr. Paredes. Don't worry, "the gang" will watch over Alex, Josie and the kids forever. Rest in Peace our beloved "Mississippi".

My Deepest Sympathy to your family Alex. I will always cherish all the sweetest conversations I had with your lovely momma everytime we picked up the kids in elementary school. I will forever have those times in my heart. Sometimes I made her laugh so much with some things I would talk to her about. May she rest in heavenly peace. Sending lots of prayers y'alls way.

I knew Time through her sister, Bruni. Bruni and I were high school friends and college roommates at Texas State University ((previously known as SWTS). Time would faithfully send us "care packages " so we wouldn't get homesick. She was a sweet lady. May she RIP. May God comfort her family at this time.

Esther (Tíme) and her family moved in a block from where I lived on W. Jackson St. in Brownsville, TX. Thanks to the exchange of comic books with my brother, I became close friends with her and the Guzman Family. We would walk to school, Clearwater, Cummings, and Brownsville High School. Though she graduated a year before I did, we continued to be friends. I will always treasure the fond memories we had, church, movies, FISHER'S, and the beach! My condolences to her son and his family.
