Maria graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. She met Jesse Ramirez in Houston, Texas. Maria worked as as a seamstress at The House of Lace and Colthworld for 20+ years. She enjoyed gardening,attending church, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving Husband Jesse Ramirez, son Christopher Ramirez, and daughter Melinda Castillo.
She is survived by her daughters Jeannette Rubalcaba and Yolanda Ramirez, grandchildren Christopher Ramirez Jr, Alexander Ramirez, Albert Rubalcaba Jr, Adam Rubalcaba, Jerry Mendoza, Leslie Barillas, and Justin Mclemore, and 1 great grandson Jayden James Rubalcaba.
Pallbearers are Alexander Ramirez, Albert Rubalcaba Jr, Adam Rubalcaba, Albert Rubalcaba, Justin Mclemore, and Jarison Barillas.
A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. A burial will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
