Maria Del Socorro Reyna

Mary Espinosa Reyna, born November 9, 1921, in New Caney, TX, to Jose Maria Espinosa and Rafaela Vela entered eternal rest on January 5, 2014 at the young age of 92. She worked hard all her life from the very young age of 9. She helped raise her siblings and helped support her family as long as she was needed. Her greatest love was her second husband of 50 plus years, Victor Reyna, who preceded her in death on April 30, 2000. With him she lived a wonderful life with all their children: Jesse Ybarra (Bertha) (deceased), Virginia Gutierrez (Daniel), Victor Reyna Jr., Victor Rey Reyna (Wanda), Alice Lopez (Gerardo), Arthur Reyna (Brenda), and Ricky Reyna (Cindy) (including grandchildren, Misty Lara (Rene) and Ricky Lara whom she helped raise). Mary was also preceded in death by her two step daughters Oralia and Anna Maria. She most loved spending time with her family. Mary had 22 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She enjoyed story telling, crocheting, traveling and all things FAMILY. She will be missed more than any words could ever convey. She will forever be in our memories as well as in our hearts and in our souls with more love than one can give.
