She graduated from The Sacred Heart of Dominican College, Houston TX in 1956 with Registered Nurse Bachelor of Science degree. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital in the Emergency room and as a RN and surgical nurse. She married, Donald C. Seeberger, Sr. When she started her family, she stayed home to raise her four children until the untimely death of her husband. She returned to nursing at St. Joseph Hospital. She went on to work at Harris County Hospital District, Ben Taub Hospital and then retired from Casa de Amigos Clinic. When she retired, she stayed home to take care of her mother.
She loved her family. She enjoyed playing her piano in her younger years. She also enjoyed classical music and watching the Houston Astros.
She will be dearly missed.
Maria is survived by her children Maria Theresa McGregor, Donald C. Seeberger Jr., Jerome Seeberger; and Frederick Seeberger Sr. (Azalia Seeberger); her grandchildren Meghan McGregor, Michael Seeberger (Gloria), Christie Seeberger, Stephen Seeberger, Andrew Seeberger, Frederick Seeberger Jr., Chelsea Seeberger, and Nicholas Seeberger, and her great grandchildren Alexis McGregor, Mercedes McGregor and Landon Seeberger.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband Donald C. Seeberger Sr.; her mother Concepcion S. Villarreal; and her brother Richard S. Villarreal.
A visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77022. A rosary will occur Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 6:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77022. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Magnum Rd., Houston, TX 77092. A committal service will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77060.
