Marie Elizabeth (Betty) Atchison passed away on October 2, 2013 at the age of 89 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 24, 1923 in Tulsa Oklahoma, to Marie and Charles McCallion. In 1942 she met Paul Engel who she was married to for almost 28 years. She is survived by her daughters Marcia Cook, Sherri Spanos (husband Jim), Bobbie Wallace, Debbie MacKenzie (husband Doug), son Larry (wife Cheryl, her very special daughter-in-law), eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Marianne Barr and Patsy Blair. Betty will also be remembered for her love and devotion to her animals. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in her name to the Alzheimers Foundation or the Citizens for Animal Protection or any other animal protection organization.
