Marie Elson Jones

Marie met JB in Houston and later married on September 24, 1954. Marie worked in the oil & gas industry for Exxon and retired in 1992. After retiring she did a lot of traveling. She would travel to Las Vegas and sail the seas by going on cruises. Marie was a professional clown named Merry Marie. She also enjoyed playing card games with her friends and she loved bluebonnets. Marie was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, JB Jones; son, Wayne Jones; daughter, Gail Anders; grandson, Shawn Anders; granddaughter, Cherie Jozwiak; sister, Elizabeth Mae Stidham.

Left to cherish her loving memory, grandson, Justin Jones & wife Mandy; granddaughter, Leslie Jones; great grandchildren, Vaughn, Dax, Colton, Emily, Madison Pierce, Saige Pinson.

Visitation for family and friend will begin on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 1PM with the service beginning at 2PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
