Marie Shipp Shipp Keys-Free

Marie Shipp Keys-Free, 86, of Spring went to be with her Lord Saturday, December 11, 2010. She was born April 17, 1924 in Garrison, TX to Julius and Willie Mae Shipp. Marie was a wonderful mom and homemaker who loved her family. She always had something wonderful in the kitchen and welcomed the opportunity to share it with her guests. Marie had a sharp mind and a quick wit and you always knew where you stood with her. She will be greatly missed by all those that loved her. Marie is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Key, and son Lee Clifton. She is survived by her two loving children, Robert Keys and wife Cyndy, Evelyn Clifton; grandchildren, Stacey Pike and husband Vince, Tracey Slott and husband Josh, Stacy Newton and husband Randy, Stewart Jones and wife Noelle, Denny Clifton and wife Eugenia, Mike Clifton, Angel Clifton, Darren Clifton, Rickey Clifton and wife Melissa, Corey Clifton and wife Kelly; many great grandchildren, other relatives along with her special friends, Moppy, Lucy, Lady, Cooper, and Little Man. Visitation will be Monday, December 13, 2010 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be 12:30 pm Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
