Marilyn Daniel Nickerson, born May 9, 1925 passed away April 9, 2011. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Roy and Beatrice Box; brothers, L.D., Mike and Robert Box. She will be greatly missed by her son James Daniel and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Kim Matarazzo, David Daniel, Jack Nimmo, Lori Baker; adopted grandchildren, Vinh, Van, Hai, Nam Nguyen; great grandchildren, Taylor Frizzell, Phillip Clark, Mitchel Daniel, Ashley, Ryan and Savannah Baker; brothers and sisters, Lillymae McGuire, Jessie and Buddy Shipp, Don and Charlene Box and Charles and Flo Box and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marilyn married Howard Daniel in 1942 and lived in Houston where they both worked at the Textile Mill for 40 years. They moved to San Leon where they enjoyed many years of retirement. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13th at Brookside Funeral Home beginning at 9:30 am. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel at 12:30pm with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
