She is also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy E. Robinson, daughter, Vallie Lee Briles and sister, Lynda Kay Smith.

She is survived by her son, Van Robinson; her daughter-in-law Victoria Robinson; grandchildren, Andrew Robinson and Leslie Robinson; sister, Vanda Nicholson and her husband, Freddie Nicholson; and numerous extended family members.

Marilyn graduated from Sam Houston High School. She worked at Continental Airlines for more than 20-years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She had an infectious laugh that you could hear down the hallway and know that it was her, and you couldn’t help but laugh with her. Overall, she loved her family and her husband.

The Family will receive friends on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 12:30-2:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00pm and the Committal Service will follow at 4:00pm.
