Marion Hall Gallagher died on September 11, 2014 at the age of 85. Her daughters were at her bedside and she was surrounded by love. All her life she was devoted to her family, dedicated to her church and active in the service of the poor and marginalized.
She is survived by her daughters Susan M Gallagher, Diane Gallagher and Gwenn Gallagher; sons-in-law William A Durham and William S McCann; and grandchildren Andrew Durham, Margaret Durham, Caitlin Rose McCann, Meghan Mairead McCann, Allison Frances Duncanson and husband Ian Duncanson; brother James Rudyard Hall and sisters Florence Busby and Alice Hall Beck and husband Edward Beck. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Terence A Gallagher.
There will be a Visitation and Reception, followed by a Rosary at 7pm on Sunday, September 14 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston TX 77079. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 11, 2014 at 10 am at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 10688 Shadow Wood Drive, Houston, TX 77043-2826.
