Marte R. Garza went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2016. He was born on February 28, 1937 in Matamoros Tamp, Mexico, to parents Andres and Ramona Garza. Marte worked as a Superintendent for a construction company. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Lorenza Garza; five children, Raquel Klesel and husband Darrell, Marte Garza Jr., Daniel E. Garza, Alfredo Garza and wife Michelle, Rogelio Garza and wife Theresa; eight grandchildren, Michael Klesel, Sean Klesel, Brittany Klesel, Brooke Garza, Brianna Garza, Christopher Garza, Steven Garza and Nicholas Garza; four great-grandchildren Kenzie Klesel, Bella Garza, Weston Garza and Avery Garza.
The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM and a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
