On July 19, 2025, she peacefully passed away after a 10-year battle with Alzheimer’s. She was a shy and private person. She loved gardening, classic movies, and music. She doted on her 2 grandchildren and adored her great-grandson. Even after her memory failed her love for them continued. She was diligent, hardworking, and had a work ethic like no other. Martha got her first job the day after graduating high school and worked into her mid 70’s. She was generous to friends and donated to numerous charities.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Bailey and husband Michael; son Kevin Berckenhoff and wife Amy. Her greatest joy was found in her grandchildren- Brandi Lunsford and her husband Chris, William Berckenhoff, and her great-grandson Brody Lunsford. Martha is also survived by her sister Barbara Hutchins as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Stella Craven and her sister Shirley Fabrygel.
Our precious mother, grandmother, and great grandmother will be laid to rest Monday, July 28, 2025 at Brookside Memorial Park, Houston Texas.
