Martha L. Noel

Martha L. Noel, 89, of Humble, Texas passed away on January 19, 2021. Martha was born August 23, 1931 in Leonard, Texas to parents Horace Guy Peters and Beulah Arnold. In Martha's early life, she lost her mother at an early age and went to live with her Aunt Cleo. After some time, she went to live with her Grandpa and Granny.

Martha was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church in Houston and a member of the Eastern Star. She worked at Kroger's as a baker before retiring. Her passions included taking care of her flower beds and garden; she loved her roses. Mrs. Martha also loved watching and listening to the birds, but most of all, she loved reading her Bible and worshipping God/Jesus Christ our Savior.

Martha is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Noel and her parents Horace and Beulah.

Left to cherish her memories are her son Jack Wardell; daughters: Patricia Moody, Janet Hodell; grandchildren: Larry Moody Jr., Steven Moody and wife Cassie Moody, Jennifer Moody Hunt and husband Darrin Hunt, Jamie Moody and wife Sarah Moody, Michael Moody, Jahenea Wardell, Trisha Hodell, Chris, John Wardell and wife, Jahanna and husband; great grandchildren: Spencer, Macy, Lily, Penny, Nevaeh, Dillon, Chance, Cory, Jacob, Jackson, Michael, Nicolas, and 9 other beautiful great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday January 27, 2021 at 2:30 PM with burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
