It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Soland, a truly beautiful soul whose love, faith, and kindness touched everyone she met. Martha left this world surrounded by the love of her family and the comfort of her deep Catholic faith.
Martha was a woman of great strength and unwavering spirit. Her smile could light up any room, and her heart had no limits when it came to giving and caring for others. God and family were always first in her life—a value she lived by every day with grace and devotion.
For 26 years, Martha dedicated her life to education, first as a teacher and later as a school librarian, where she inspired countless young minds with her patience, wisdom, and joy for learning. Her impact on her students and colleagues remains immeasurable.
A proud and faithful member of the Catholic Daughters of America for 55 years, Martha was deeply involved in her church community, where she found strength, friendship, and purpose. She also enjoyed her fellowship with the New Generation Seniors for the past 12 years, cherishing the moments spent with dear friends.
Martha was married for 38 beautiful years, building a life centered on love, faith, and family. She was a devoted mother to her three daughters: Rosalynn Soland Behrens, Deborah Soland, and Marcie Mastrelli. Her love and care for them were endless, and her legacy lives on in their hearts.
She was also a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren: Christopher Behrens, Brandon Behrens, William Behrens, and Cameron Mastrelli. Along with her extended family and many cherished friends, she leaves behind a legacy of compassion, faith, and love that will never be forgotten.
