Left to cherish his memory is his wife Olga Peña San Juan, his four daughters, Griselda Gomez, Elizabeth San Juan, Patricia Rubio and Dessie Compian. He was also survived by his two siblings Bonifacio San Juan and Hilaria Aguilar San Juan, survived also by his 7 grandchildren: Anthony Gomez, Hailee Gomez, Manuel Gomez, Lizzette Dimas, Gilbert Dimas, Caleb Rubio, and Christopher Rubio.
Martiniano was known by many names, Martin, Armando, Chino and Silverio by his friends and relatives. Martin’s wife Olga and his daughters were his greatest pride and joy. Martin was a loving son towards his parents and always expressed his love for them when he spoke of them. He was a caring father to his daughters and great friend to many. He and Olga left behind family and friends in Matamoros, Mexico in the 1980’s to move to Houston, TX for a brighter future. They spent 46 years married working very hard to provide for their family. One of the greatest joy Martin was good at was storytelling, he loved to laugh at jokes, drink with his friends, listen to his music, dance, and cook, a social butterfly. Martin was called to be with the Lord sooner that we had expect it. We are confident that his soul is resting in heaven peacefully. He will be missed by his family, his numerous nieces and nephews and relatives as well as many friends. He will always live and be remembered in the hearts of his daughters and those that knew him.
