Our beloved Marvin Abilio Campos entered God’s Kingdom on October 30, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer. Marvin was born to Jose Abilio and Maria Campos on March 17, 1977, in San Miguel, El Salvador.
Marvin graduated from ACE High School in 1996 where he met his wife Cecilia but began dating in 2004. Marvin married his wife Cecilia in 2007. He was a dedicated father, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, and Astros fan. Family meant more to Marvin than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned was how unendingly proud he was of his children Isabel Celeste, Jalisa Desree, Julian Anthone and his wife Cecilia. Constantly supporting them in all aspects of their lives. Marvin was a loyal servant to God, he loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ through his prophetic art, at his church Victory Christian Center. Marvin was the founder of MetroRail Ministry, a homeless community ministry where he took his family on and off the metro rail to provide not only the love of God, but tangible essentials to the un-homed areas of downtown Houston. Marvin also proudly and passionately served the senior retirement community.
Marvin is survived by many loving family members, including his wife Cecilia Campos, children Isabel C. Tristan, Jalisa D. Tristan, and Julian A. Campos, parents Maria Campos and Jose A. Campos, and siblings Jose Campos, Rosa Campos, and Christian Campos.
