Mary Anne Baker

Born in Wisconsin, Mary was the first person in her family to graduate from college, earning her degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She carried that determination and work ethic throughout her life, building a successful career as an internal auditor. She was passionate about her work and took great pride in helping others through her profession, most recently serving as an audit lead on internal projects for USAA.

Above all else, Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was the proud mother of four children—Chris, Leslie, James, and Jeff Baker. Her family was the greatest joy of her life, and she loved each of them dearly.

She was the most thoughtful and faithful woman, always placing the needs of others before her own. Whether someone needed encouragement, a listening ear, practical help, or simply the comfort of knowing they were loved, she was always there. Her quiet acts of kindness, steadfast faith, and unwavering generosity left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Her grandchildren and beloved grand-puppies held a special place in her heart. She celebrated their accomplishments, comforted them through life's challenges, and loved them with all that she had. Her family will forever cherish the countless memories, traditions, laughter, and unconditional love she shared with them.

While our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort in knowing that her faith guided her throughout her life and that the love she poured into others will continue to live on through all those she touched. May she rest peacefully at home with God.
