Mary Ruth Carman
October 9, 1927 – December 3, 2018
Mary Ruth Carman, 91, went to be with her Lord on December 3, 2018. Mary was born October 9, 1927 in Fountain Hill, Arkansas to parents Artie and Bill Boyd. She graduated from Hamburg High School, May 5, 1946. After moving to Houston, Texas she met and married, also new to Houston, William Bradley Carman on March 21, 1948. She had a passion for gardening, especially her azaleas.
Left to cherish her memories are: daughter Beverly Carol Jenkins and husband William Alsup Jenkins, grandchildren Carl James Vitera, Jr. and Jennifer Ruth Vitera; brother Eugene Boyd, and brother-in-law Johnny Dunton. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 32 years, William Bradley Carman, son William Bradley, Jr., sister-in-law Betty Boyd, siblings and their spouses: Billy and Jean Boyd, Evelyn Dunton, Ellen and Gabe Brooks, Mae and Billy McGough, Emma Lou and Norman Croswell, Erma and Scotty Garrett.
