

Mary Lou Ceasar was born to the late Preston Ceasar and Josephine
Ceasar-King in Alexandria, Louisiana on November 14, 1946.
She was raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana until she moved to Houston,
TX in 1972. She bore one son, Courtney Ceasar, and soon started her
career working for the State of Texas for over 20 years.
Mary united with Greater Sunrise Missionary Baptist church until the
Lord called her home. She was a devoted member for over 40 years.
Mary always looked forward to holidays and spending time with her
family. She LOVED to eat and always wanted to know what food was going
to be served, who was cooking, who was going to bring what food, and
when and where the next event was going to take place.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandbabies, Caleb and
Cameron. She loved posting them on Facebook and was consistent in
expressing her love for them and all of their achievements.
She is preceded in death by her father Preston Ceasar and her mother
Josephine Ceasar-King, her three sisters Delores Ford, Lessie Gary,
and JoAnn Allen, and her five brothers Otis Ceasar, Preston Ceasar,
Leo “Bill” King III and Cleveland King.
She leaves to cherish in her memories, her son and daughter-in-law
Courtney and LaKeisha Ceasar and her grandbabies Caleb and Cameron. In
addition, she also leaves to cherish in her memories is her brother
Lewis David King (L.D.), her sister Irene Zackery (Teenie), her
brother Anderson King (husband of Jerri King), her brother Johnny King
(husband of Rhonda King), her sister Gloria Pradia (wife of Marquis
Pradia), her sister Betty Roach (wife of Trenton Roach), and her
sister Jeanette Hamilton (wife of Joe Hamilton).
She also will carry on in the memories of a host of many cousins,
nieces, nephews and friends.
