(Mary) Frances Clepper passed away peacefully on March 10, 2018 with family members by her side. She is survived by her children, Richard E. Clepper (Debra) and Moses Clepper (Sandi), her siblings, Carl "Wimpy" Cannon (Bonita Ruth "Tootie") and Afton Faye Matthews (Freddie), her grandchildren, Stephanie, Jonathan, Josh, Hallie and Jeremy, her great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Gabe, Arabel and Avery, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was laid to rest beside her husband, Moses Clepper, Sr., and her parents in Brookside Memorial Park in Houston, Texas.
Frances, "with an E", was born on August 24, 1931 in Philadelphia, Mississippi, one of seven children born to Vernon Zeola and Jessie Foster Cannon. She grew up picking cotton, plowing fields and later became a local celebrity playing basketball at Bond High School. All who knew Frances knew of her generous and loving spirit. She loved our Lord, her family, her friends, her fishing and her garden. There was never a more diligent worker or friend. If she cared for you, you knew it. Many lives have been changed and blessed by knowing her. Those close to her in her final days witnessed her lifelong belief, that "our Lord can work in and through us until our last breath", being fulfilled.
Heaven is now a better place...
