Mary was a waitress at Britts at Northline Mall. She loved flowers, plants and turtles. Mary enjoyed collecting trinkets.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Martin Earl Purvis and Opal Lee (Jackson) Purvis; husband, James Dalton; son's, Leemon Gray and Bill (Butch) Thompson.
Left to cherish her memory by her grandchildren, Amie Munholland (Herbie), Kari Tarver (Eddie), Jeremy Gray, Kim Krauter (Keith), Sandy Nash and Traci Thompson; great grandchildren, Ashleigh Wilson (Hunter), Landon Munholland, Taryn (Edwind) Lopez, Tawni (Abraham) Salazar, Tyler (Jessica) Thompson, Nicholas Krauter, Jason Holman, Kassie Reynolds; daughter in law, Vicki Gray and a host of great grandchildren, nephews and nieces also survive
Serving as pallbearers are James Lovelady, Clent Hood, James Teer and Ben Robinson.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will follow and begin promptly at 12:00PM followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
