Mary E. Sargent Fishback

On February 1, 1953, Mary married the love of her life, Amos Fishback. She spent 30 years as a Navy Wife taking care of her three daughters and being the matriarch of her family; always keeping everyone together, safe and happy!! Mary taught us about the Lord and lived her life serving Him and everyone she ever met. She touched more lives than she knew and welcomed all into their home!!

Mary loved to garden, watch the birds and just enjoy the simple wonders of God's Creation.

I know she would want to give special thanks to all her nurses at Methodist Willowbrook; her doctors, Dr. Rodriguez, Dr. Kapdia, Dr. Thai; and especially her long time nurse Leslie.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Amos Fishback; her daughters, Kim Clark and husband Keith, Suzie Swan and husband Robin and Dedra Holland; her grandchildren, Larry Holland, Jr., Brandon Holland and wife Leslie, Jason Holland and wife Miriam, Robin Swan, Jr. and wife Sheanna, Brandon Swan and wife Christina, Chris Mays and wife Erica, Michelle Swan and Spencer Swan; her great-grandchildren, Ricky, Tori, Taylor, Jaycee, Madison, Kyleigh, Shayla, Braxton, Cherish, Jaylynn, McKenna, Tina, Bella, and Jason Dean; her brother, Mike Sargent and wife Clella; and numerous other loving relatives and friends

Mary will be laid to rest in the Houston National Cemetery. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Larry Holland, Jr., Brandon Holland, Jason Holland, Robin Swan, Jr., Brandon Swan, Spencer Swan and Chris Mays.
