Mary Frances Heidbreder

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Anton Renner and Hilda Renner, and by her beloved sisters, Anna and Betty.

She is survived by her devoted husband of many years, Donald Mark Heidbreder; her loving children, Jeff Heidbreder and his wife, Heather; Jill Kerstetter and her husband, Bill; and Amy Gonzalez and her husband, Aldo. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Ben, Evan, Sofia, Julian, and Camila, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. She is also survived by her brothers, Donnie and Michael, and her sisters, Bonnie and Peggy, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Mary worked in several places throughout her career, with her final years of employment spent at Walmart before retiring. She was known for her strong work ethic, but her greatest calling was being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Nothing brought Mary more happiness than supporting her family. She rarely missed an opportunity to cheer from the sidelines, sit proudly in the audience, or simply be present for the moments that mattered most. Whether it was a sporting event, a band concert, a school program, or another milestone, Mary was there-offering encouragement, celebrating accomplishments, and making every achievement feel special.

She had an extraordinary gift for making people feel loved. Mary noticed the smallest details about those around her and had a remarkable way of making each person feel seen, remembered, and valued. Her generosity came naturally, and she found genuine joy in brightening someone else's day through thoughtful act of kindness.

Mary also found peace and purpose in quilting, lovingly creating handmade blankets that will continue to wrap her family in warmth and treasured memories for generations. She enjoyed watching the Houston Astros, admired the beauty of cardinals, and treasured the simple moments spent with those she loved. Although she often joked that she wasn't the greatest cook, there was never any doubt that she was an extraordinary mother and grandmother whose unconditional love shaped the lives of everyone around her.

Her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. As a faithful parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, she found strength, hope, and peace. through Sunday Mass and lived her life guided by compassion, humility, and love.

Though Mary’s final days were marked by a courageous battle with illness, she remained surrounded by the unwavering love of her family. While they grieve her absence deeply, they find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the loving embrace of our Lord.
