Madilene was a dedicated housewife whose creativity and talent were evident in everything she did. Her love for crafts was unmatched; she could often be found with a bag from Michaels or Hobby Lobby, ready to crochet, sew, or craft beautiful creations for her loved ones. From fancy dresses to Christmas ornaments, her artistic spirit was boundless. Above all, her love and devotion to her family always took center stage.
Her contributions to her community were notable. She served as Past President of the Rebekah Assembly of Texas from 1990 to 1991 and was an active member of Harlandale Rebekah Lodge #179, Diamond Rebekah Lodge #199, Conroe Oddfellow Lodge #67, Aldine Eastern Star Chapter #1088, and NARFE Chapter #828.
Madilene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Winnerd R. Hutto; her parents, Harvey and Bernice Thrower; and her brothers, Edward “Sonny” Thrower and James Wesley Thrower.
She is survived by her son, Delaney Wayne Howard, and his wife, Esther Louise Howard; her granddaughter, Jennifer H. Y’Barbo, and husband, Andy Hamilton; her great-grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Y’Barbo and Nicholas James Hamilton; and her nephews, Danny Thrower (Linda) and their daughters, Marissa Thrower and Angelle (Matthew Martinez), Keith Thrower and his daughter Meghan (Jared Martin) and their children, Parker and Jackson Watkins, and Robby Thrower (Robyn), their son Stuart (Erica) and children, and daughters DaniLee Thrower and Manning Thrower.
