

Mary was born November 25, 1934 in Oklahoma to Samual and Geneva Simerley. She received her college degree at Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas in 1974. She majored in Physical Education and Science.
On November 29, 1952 she married Charles M. King and raised two daughters, Marian and JoAnna and two sons, Charles Edward and Gary. On August 10, 1978 she married Lonnie Kersten and helped raised two more daughters Carrie and Connie and one son Bruce. In 2006 she met Terry Jinks, which she spent the remaining of her life with.
Mary was proceed in death by her father Samual and mother Geneva. Her brother James, her first two husbands Charles and Lonnie. Her daughter Carrie and her grandson James Robert.
She is survived but her husband Terry, six children; Marian, JoAnna, Charles Edward, Gary, Connie and Bruce. Sixteen grandchildren an fifteen great grandchildren.
Mary had passion for teaching. She taught elementary PE for many years and was a Special Education teacher for the remainder of her teaching carrier. She loved dancing, sewing and doll making. She taught porcelain doll making classes for many years. She was known for her infectious smile and kind & compassionate spirit.
