Mary Louise Knowlton

Mary Louise Chapman Knowlton died Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Houston, TX at the age of 85. Born in Mineola, NY, Mary Louise started her married life in New Jersey then moved to Houston with her husband in the 1960’s. She was a graduate of William Woods College in Missouri. Mary Louise was a dedicated volunteer for President George H.W. Bush for 50 years and also volunteered at the Alley Theater in her younger years.

She was predeceased by her husband, John A Knowlton, Jr. and her grandson, Derek Murphy. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Knowlton Murphy and husband, Danny; son, Jack Knowlton and wife, Diana; granddaughters, Andrea Knowlton and Laura Murphy Moore and husband, Justin; and

great-granddaughter, Katelyn Moore.
