David,
You are in my thoughts. Please know that when your Dad told me this morning of Janie's death, his emotions were evident and showed his love and concern.   
He is very proud of you and acknowledges that Janie was, and he is, fortunate to call you their son.  They have been blessed by your family and yes, how graciously you have been blessed by a remarkable mother and father.
And a loving God.
