She graduated from St. Francis grade school and St. Pius High School in Houston. Mary Ann was married for over 46 years and had been with her husband Douglas for over 50 years. She was a beautiful wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was our best friend!

Mary Ann always had a fond appreciation of the performing arts, and live music. She loved to dance, and especially enjoyed pop music of the 80's, 90's, on up to today's modern pop! Her favorite shows were "Dancing with the Stars", "American Idol", "The Voice", and "So You Think You Can Dance". She was very active physically and was involved with Jazzercise for over 20 yrs. During that time she made many long lasting relationships with her Jazzercise buddies!

Mary Ann was spirited, thoughtful, supportive and kind, not only to her family, but to all people she met. She always gave her undivided attention to those she engaged in conversation with. She asked many questions when getting to know you, listened with true patience, showed sincere interest, and carried an amazing memory for all the knowledge she gained! She had a trusting and generous nature about her. Mary Ann always thought of others before herself.

Over many years Mary Ann traveled to virtually every state in the U.S. She also vacationed in Bermuda, The Virgin Islands, and Mexico. She was planning an overseas trip with her husband to Seychelles in 2014. She loved all of the sites she traveled, but her favorites were Las Vegas and Utah.

During her last months Mary Ann struggled with stage 4 cancer. She fought a hard fight and endured a lot of pain. She was blessed to be at home with her family during her battle. She rose with the angels, and joined her loved ones who preceded her in death on November 2, 2013 (her husband's birthday & All Souls Day). She has found peace with her Lord and Savior, is no longer suffering, but missed immensely by her family & friends!

I met Mary Ann in 1997 when I moved to Houston & joined Jazzercise here in Katy. I know that we were destined to meet & become besties, a friendship & bond that death cannot separate ~ I will rejoice in the day that we meet again. She was a beautiful, kind, precious friend ~ I always told her that I loved her & she always responded, "I love you more!"... Precious memories of all the good times & talks we had and socializing at our favorite Mexican restaurant on Friday nights ~ it will never be the same. Although I was out of the country when the angels came & took her, she came to say good-bye to me in the form of a butterfly (yes, out in the middle of the ocean, no less ~ that's how God works).

Mary Ann will always be remembered as one of the friendliest, kindest, and most thoughtful ladies that I have ever known. She loved her Jazzercise classes, dancing and singing as she took class, and she always commented afterwards, that was a great set. She had kind words to say to all, and never forgot a name, or a birthday! She was so funny too & quick witted! She knew the names of songs & artists from all our routines, and she was always on top of current fashion and trends too. A very special lady. She will be dearly missed by all of us at Jazzercise. Love and prayers go out to her family.

Mary Ann,
I'll never forget the kindness you showed me everyday. You were a second mother to me, and the best grandmother Kingston could ask for. I admired your style, grace, and intellect. I'll cherish every conversation at the kitchen table we had on Sundays while clipping out cupons, all the times we sat in the backyard enjoying the weather watching Kingston play, listening to all kinds of music in the living room or all the movies we watched late night with Neil. I will miss you so much... I Love You.

Mary Ann Lobland Price! How I remember how she and my sister loved to dance! For some reason it is almost as if yesterday, I remember them dancing to Brenda Lee and oohing over Gene Pitney. Her sister Linda and I used to hang as our parents got together for a drink or two. Mary Ann was always a gracious tall beautiful person. I don't think she ever realized how beautiful she really was. And when she married Doug, well it was over. My sister, Chris married Frank and they all became married friends. I saw her later on about 30 years later and she still seemed the same Mary Ann to me. Friend of everyone; no one was a stranger. God Bless you Doug, Linda and family. Thinking of you and praying for you.
