Mauria Still (nee McGovern), on Friday, March 10, 2017, Mauria Still – wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend – passed away at the age of 50. Mauria is survived by her husband, Ian, and their children, Mia, Aidan and Shana. Mauria also is survived by her mother, Marilou McGovern Hooven, and by her brother and sisters: Harry (Patricia) McGovern, Monica (Christian) Deegler, Shana (Michael) Keefe and Kara (Alan) Dixon. Mauria is predeceased by her father, Harry McGovern. She also will be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
A Christian Wake Service will be held on Thursday, March 16 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway; Houston, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 17 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mauria’s name to Guayaquil Mission, c/o St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77025.
