Maverine C. Heatherly, 95, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2019. She was born on March 15, 1923 in Haleyville, Alabama to Harley Paul & Mary Jerushie Carden. Maverine married Norman Ambers Heatherly on August 15, 1941. She attended the 1st Baptist Church in Tomball, Texas. Spending most of her life as a housewife, Maverine loved taking care of her family. She also spent a lot of time praying to the Lord. Maverine will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Maverine is preceded in death by her husband: Norman Ambers Heatherly; son: Johnny Earl Heatherly.
Left to cherish her memory, sons: A.R. Heatherly and wife Cynthia, Samuel Jackson Heatherly; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will begin Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm with the funeral service beginning at 10am on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
