Uncle Max is my Great Uncle. I only remember meeting him once, at my Grandmothers funeral in 1994. I was 17 years old. I remember him being one of the very few who was able to make me smile that weekend amid all of the sorrow. And of course, I know him through my Dad, Mike’s memories of him, and receiving a Christmas card each year from him and Aunt Miriam. My father is the son of his brother John; and wife Barbara. He is one of 7 children they share together. I have this picture from that time of Grandpa, all of his kids and Great grandma. I wanted to share with the family. There is another photo Of Great Grandmom and all of her sons taken around the same time. I do not have this on hand, but perhaps someone else does and would like to share.
I am very sorry for your loss. Loss is never easy, however with a family our size, support is endless. Please feel free to reach out to extended family, and know you are all in our prayers.

When I arrived at Delta Arline’s, Inc. Max Horrocks was among the first five or six people that I met. He and J.B. Nichols taught my Reservations Sales class. Max was an excellent teacher all around. He coined the name Jonesy for me and it stuck with me throughout my DL career. I still remember some of the DL stories he shared with my class. ...... Max was always fun and professional to be around.
