Melanie Pena

Melanie Pena, 33, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 18, 2026. Born on March 22, 1993, in Houston, Texas, Melanie was a lifelong resident of the city she proudly called home. She graduated from Aldine High School and dedicated herself to being a homemaker, caring for and loving her family with all her heart.

Melanie was known for her vibrant personality and the joy she brought to those around her. She loved dancing, singing, joking around, and cooking for family and friends. Her laughter, kindness, and loving spirit will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, Marco Antonio Pena.

Melanie leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Destiny Salazar, Ruby Pena and Isabella Gonzalez; her parents, Reynaldo Villarreal, Pedro Pena and Sylvia Pena; her brothers, Alejandro Adrian Pena, Pedro Alonso Pena Jr. and Felipe Saul Pena; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Though her time with us was far too short, Melanie's love, warmth, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003, US, on July 28, 2026, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.

A Chapel Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003, US, on July 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will be held at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009, US, on July 29, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
