Melisa Ann Mullenix

Melisa Ann Mullenix, 49, of Humble, Texas, passed away on August 26, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1974, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to her loving parents, Harland Ray Mullenix and Dorothy Mae Mullenix.

Melisa graduated from Kingwood High School and went on to earn her nursing license from Kingwood College. She dedicated 20 years of her life to a fulfilling career in nursing, working with Memorial Hermann and Life Flight. Melisa was known for her ambition and her unwavering commitment to helping others.

Melisa had a passion for bringing joy into the lives of everyone around her. Her kindness and compassion left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Curtis Mullenix. Melisa is survived by her father, Harland Mullenix; her mother, Dorothy Mullenix; her sister, Michelle Mullenix; her two sons, Sean Mullenix-Young and Cody Goodman; her daughter, Kylie Goodman; her grandson, Jaxon Windsor; and her granddaughter, Montana Goodman.

Pallbearers will be Sean Mullenix-Young, Cody Goodman, Kylie Goodman, Michelle Mullenix, Devin Mullenix-Young, and Jamie Tingle.

A visitation for Melisa will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 6, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Porter, TX 77365. A committal service will occur Friday, September 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039.
