I remember the first night we met. Thanksgiving  day 2002.  I knew your roommate Adrian(RIP). He invited me and our friend James  to come over after all the family stuff.  From the moment I saw you I was captivated by you.  we  talked all night sitting across from one another never broke eye contact. I learned that night what love was. I regret not being there more for you. I'm sorry. I know I will see you again. You will always have my whole heart not just a piece as I said before. I miss our phone calls to each other. I miss u more then you can imagine. I love you. you will always be the love of my life

Melissa was a great friend that will be greatly missed. She was a sweet and giving soul, she would always put others before herself. I will always hold deeply all the fond memories we shared. Love you always!

Melissa's enthusiasm for family always stood out to me. As her younger cousin, I always appreciated how she would go out of her way to make sure I was loved. I remember Melissa as the "cool" cousin who always brought life and enthusiasm to our family vacations. As I grew older Melissa became someone I could talk to about the more serious parts of life. Melissa, I'll always remember your cooking, your energy for life, and most importantly your love for family.

I have so many wonderful memories with you at Chili's and the times we had together outside of Chili's. You were a truly wonderful person with the most amazing smile. You will be greatly missed.

Melissa was a wonderful person and a great friend. I don't ever remember a time I didn't see a smile on her face.  She was always there when you needed someone to talk to and was always full of good advice. Melissa was always there for her friends in any way possible. She was a very important part of my life... Without meeting her I never would have met my wife! I guess stepping on her rhinestone flip flop by accident had its pluses! Melissa was a spectacular cook and was so very passionate about cooking and her amazing attitude about anything, good or bad, is something I will not forget as well. I feel very honored to have had the privilege to have met her and to have had Melissa as a friend...

Melissa was a big part of my life. I was drawn to her strong go-getter personality and I admired that! Melissa was always a reliable friend when you needed her, even if it was the middle of the nite anytime... she was there. Whether we were hangin out at the pool, tanning, watching movies or talkin bout guys we always had a great time!! Melissa LOVED the water and especially the beach! We BOTH loved the beach. The last time we went at nite, the moon was so bright, we swam in the ocean and Melissa went out sooo deep! More adventurous then myself and she loved it! The next nite I treated her to a nite at Pleasure Pier. It had just opened and we rode all the rides. I remember we laughed so hard because she lost one of her flip flops on the swinging pirate boat. We had so many fun memories through out the years together and I will always keep them close to my heart as well as her... I Love You Melissa.... My BFF! Till we meet again...

I find comfort in my fondest memories of Melissa and will always cherish her friendship and love. As her aunt I feel fortunate to have known Melissa from the minute she was born. The pride I felt that day holding her in my arms, a picture I have always carried with me. Physically Melissa is no longer among us, but the legacy of her warmth and her talent will endure forever in my heart. I will always think of her when I make her fabulous recipe of guacamole. I miss her dearly.

Melissa was a beautiful person inside and out.  I feel blessed to have known her and glad to have the wonderful memories of our Christmas Parties and working with her at Nutcracker Market.  Her passion for cooking made her an excellent cook.  She was my go to girl for cooking tips!  
I loved her and will miss her. Love you Beverly.

I was lucky enough to have had the chance tobe in a long relationship with melissa she was a wonderful women. her love was one of kind. Melissa will always have a piece of my heart. I will always love you my pokie bear rest in peace. Until we meet again.

A smile is on my face and in my heart as I remember a time when Melissa and I visited with her Dad in Magnolia before his death. I will always feel the love that she felt & expressed for her Father. I was fortunate to have had that experience.  Love is infinite.

I have so many wonderful memories of Melissa that it is difficult for me to pick out one item to share.  I do not have a sister and Melissa was like my sister.  I looked up to her and wanted to be like her from a young age.  As young kids we often would make up water shows in our grandparent's pool and put on plays.  These are some of my fondest memories!  Melissa was such a kind, sweet, generous person.  I will miss her so much but know she will always be in my heart.
