Melvin Donald Gray, known to friends and family as "Don," passed away on Monday June 4th 2018, at home with his wife and children at his side. He was 91 years old.
Don served our country in the US Army during WW II and retired from Houston Metro Transit after 30 plus years of service. His retirement allowed him to pursue his love as an avid gardener along with Square Dancing with his wife and the Houston Bluebonnets.
His son, Jim preceded him in death and he is survived by his wife, Gwen; sons, Edward “Ed” Gray of Van Nuys, California, William “Bill” Gray of Columbia, Maryland, Alan Gray of Culpeper, Virginia, and Daughter, Sandra Stevens of Littlestown, Pennsylvania. Don also has 3 grandchildren, Shannon Gordon, Lauren Bond, and Jacob Stevens, and 1 great-grandchild, Trent Bond.
