I am devastated over the loss of Mercedes.  I've known her since she was two years old.  Although I only saw her a handful of times over the years, I loved her dearly.  In a way, she was my niece, too.

Please know that you are in my daily thoughts and prayers.  Although you are blessed to have so many friends and family there for you, please know that THIS family loves you, and we are always here for you.

I pray that God comfort you and yours during this most difficult time.
